Perfect for those visiting the area from afar and seasoned regulars alike, our ‘Great British Pub Experience’ gives you a taste of the best traditional British pub food in the heart of the royal borough of Chelsea & Kensington. Enjoy two or three courses from our seasonal menu while we give you insight into the unique history of our stunning pub. Sumptuous Sunday’s

End the week right: a laid-back day for you, and an all-out-treat for us. Our Sunday roasts are melt-in-your-mouth magic, with towering Yorkshire puddings, perfectly slow-cooked succulent meats, and help-yourself jugs of rich, delicious gravy, plus share-with-everyone sides and a crumble that’s cosy-as-can-be. All wrapped up with a let’s-do-this-again pint by the fire.

Guinness Six Nations 2025

This January, the Six Nations returns with even more fast-paced, crowd-cheering drama than last year’s tournament. Watching your team battle it out is drink-and-snack-demanding work (we’re here for you), so our bar is packed with refreshingly-crisp, rugby-ready craft lagers, classic-but-cool real ales, and an array of celebration-worthy tipples. And since we’re open until 11pm, your final-whistle, victory-cheering celebrations can keep going strong.

Tale in a Tankard

Situated on Allen Street, named after the dashing Thomas Allen, a tailor turned military uniform supplier during the Napoleonic wars, this charming pub has quite the story to tell. In 1834, it also housed the Britannia Brewery, alongside partners Edward Herington and William Wells. Their brewery journey took a rocky path, leading to bankruptcy in 1902, a revival, and a final fall in 1924 when Young & Co stepped in. Originally, our pub was known as The Britannia Brewery Tap but got a makeover in 1938. It proudly stands as a living relic, still echoing the bones of its 1834 roots. So, join us for a pint and a glimpse into history at Britannia Pub – we’re not just a pub; we’re a tale in a tankard!

A Hidden Gem

I stumbled upon this one early-ish on a weekday. I had just arrived and wanted a good lunch and a pint. Because this pub seems to be hiding from the world, it was empty. Something I’m not used to with pubs at lunchtimes. Very cozy and plush, I could have stayed in this one all day. There was a fire going and the food was great.

Pleasant Dining Experience

Pleasant space at back for table dining and small side terrace; really good food and beer/wine selection and smiling service… What more do you need?

Nostalgic Pub Classic

Every place has a different take on bangers and mash, as does every person. My opinion was formed in the Cambridge area close to thirty years ago when I first encountered the dish. Brittania’s is very close. 5 stars for nostalgia.

Fantastic Spot in London

A great pub to go and enjoy a few drinks with your friends or have a nice meal. The atmosphere is really nice and everyone that works there are absolutely brilliant, especially the waiting staff who made our visit extra special with their kind and courteous attitude. Will certainly be back again soon!
